GLOW vs KLOW vs WOLVERINE

GLOW, KLOW and WOLVERINE are three peptide blends, each sold as a pre-filled 3 ml pen. This guide answers what is in each one: which components, how many mg of each, and what the total is. If you are comparing GLOW vs KLOW, or asking what is a WOLVERINE peptide blend, the table below has the numbers straight from the label.

Three blends, one ladder

The three blends share a core and each adds to it. WOLVERINE is the shortest: BPC-157 and TB-500. GLOW adds GHK-Cu to that pair. KLOW adds KPV to GLOW's three components. Read in order, WOLVERINE, GLOW and KLOW form a ladder of two, three and four components.

BPC-157

BPC-157 stands for Body Protective Compound-157. It is in all three blends, at the same amount in each. It is sold on its own as BPC-157 20mg. Published research on it goes back to papers from the Sikirić group in Zagreb in 1993; PubChem lists it as CID 9941957.

TB-500

The GLOW, KLOW and WOLVERINE labels list TB-500 as "Thymosin beta-4 fragment LKKTETQ". The market uses the name TB-500 for both this fragment and full-length thymosin beta-4, a 43-amino-acid protein (UniProt P62328). TB-500 here is the seven-amino-acid fragment LKKTETQ, residues 17–23 of thymosin beta-4. TB-500 is in all three blends, at the same amount in each.

GHK-Cu

GHK-Cu is Copper Tripeptide-1: the tripeptide GHK bound to copper. It is the largest single component in GLOW and KLOW, and is not in WOLVERINE. The tripeptide GHK was first reported by Pickart in 1973; its copper complex was described in 1980. It is sold on its own as GHK-Cu 100mg.

KPV

KPV is the tripeptide Lys-Pro-Val. It is only in KLOW, which is what separates KLOW from GLOW. It is sold on its own as KPV 10mg.

What GLOW, KLOW and WOLVERINE are made of

Putting the table into words: WOLVERINE is BPC-157 and TB-500 in equal amounts. GLOW is those two plus a larger amount of GHK-Cu. KLOW is GLOW's three components plus KPV. The totals follow from the components, and they are the strengths printed on the pack: 20mg, 70mg and 80mg, each in 3 ml.

Blend in one pen vs a stack of vials

A blend pen has every component in one 3 ml pen, with each component's amount on the label. Buying the same components as vials means one vial for each, each with its own diluent and its own label. Because a blend is a single solution, the pen's concentration is the total in mg divided by 3 ml; see our peptide pen vs vial guide for how that compares with a vial.

Where to find each blend

All five of our blends are on the peptide blends page. The three here are WOLVERINE 20mg, GLOW 70mg and KLOW 80mg. Prices per mg are in the UK pen price per mg table.
